Details
The Rotorua Shuttle departs at 10 am or 10.30am [for ships arriving at 9 am or later] and will return you to the ship at 5 pm, or
in good time to board the ship should it be departing sooner.
On the 60 minute scenic drive to Rotorua you will travel through Te Puke, the kiwi fruit capital of the world, forests and
past Lake Rotorua
Your driver will provide information during the journey on the destinations you could visit in Rotorua and activities you can enjoy. Information leaflets on the
destinations are available with full details.
We travel the circuit 3 times throughout the day with a final collection point at the Agrodome at 3.45pm, so you can see their last show
of the day before joining the shuttle for the return to Tauranga by a different route, through forests, into deep gorges, past sheep and deer farms and kiwifruit orchards, finally travelling
through Tauranga, over the Harbour bridge and back to the ship.
If the destination you want to visit is not covered by one of our five stopping points then these can be visited by
booking through the Rotorua I-Site who can also assist with local transport if needed.
There is no obligation to visit any destination, just cruise on the shuttle, take a walk around
[plenty of things to see for free] visit the shops, buy a picnic to enjoy by the lakefront, plus lots of cafes etc.
